At Kansai International Academy (a school accredited by the Japanese Language Education Promotion Association), a number of students can gather together from all over the world to deepen mutual understanding through Japanese and facilitate communication. In addition to providing guidance with an emphasis on conversation, we would like to teach "living Japanese" based on culture. With that in mind, we have been teaching Japanese to foreigners for a long time since we opened the school in April 1986. Thanks to that, we have produced many excellent graduates. After graduating from graduate schools, universities, and vocational schools in Japan, many of them have made remarkable achievements in Japan or other countries, such as some becoming university professors, some working in large companies, and working in Japanese companies in their home countries.

It's hard when you just came to Japan, but there are many places around the school where you can work part-time, such as factories, restaurants, and shopping streets. Also, when looking for a part-time job, the teacher will help you.
Student dormitories are available. We will prepare furniture appliances and cooking utensils so that you can live immediately from the day of entry. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes by bicycle to school. Click here for details such as costs.
If you get sick or injured, your teacher will accompany you to the hospital. If you have any questions, please contact us immediately. Please be assured that the medical expenses will be cheaper with the National Health Insurance, which you join when you enter Japan.

It consists of 15 students per class. We are doing this in a small class to enhance the opportunities for speaking and asking questions.
There are many events throughout the year such as cherry blossom viewing, festivals, autumn leaves, tea ceremony and kakizome for Japanese culture experience, disaster experience facilities, excursions, graduation trips for off-campus learning.
Every year from around June, we will have an interview about the course. Please consult about various career paths such as university, vocational school or employment. We support you in choosing a school, submitting an application for admission, and practicing an interview.
